This expansion provides a beautiful, bright open entrance and waiting room space, featuring a new gift shop, a large chapel, additional classrooms and offices. The classrooms will serve the upcoming physician residency program slated to begin in 2015.

“We are excited to create an experience for our guests from the moment they enter the facility that will match the level of extraordinary care and service that they have come to expect from the hospital,” said Chad Patrick, Chief Executive Officer at Orange Park Medical Center.

In additional to this expansion, Orange Park Medical Center has recently opened a brand-new Pediatric ER to meet the needs of their smallest residents and is near completion of all maternity rooms being fully remodeled. They are also in the planning stages for a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and a geriatric behavioral health unit.
