Meet South Atlantic Division's New VP of Nursing Operations
Kim Reddish, MSN, RN, NE-BC, CPHQ, CCRN (alumnus) joined the South Atlantic Division as the new VP of Nursing Operations, on July 13, 2021. Her leadership tenure began with HCA at Tulane Medical Center. She most recently served as the VP of Nursing for Grady Health System in Atlanta, and she returns to the HCA family with 24 years of nursing experience, 7 of those in a wide range of leadership roles at HCA Healthcare.
Kim has led nursing teams across all inpatient and outpatient service lines and brings several years of HCA experience to the role. Within HCA, Kim has served as a frontline manager and director, the Director of Critical Care for the HCA corporate offices, and from that role was promoted to the AVP of Nursing Practice.
She has also served as a VP of Nursing Operations in one of our San Antonio facilities, as well as the VP of Quality for the San Antonio Division.
Her nursing journey is a testament of the ability to grow within the HCA network and family of hospitals. While the pandemic forced her to move away from the system momentarily, to be near family, she is thrilled to be back and in the South Atlantic Division.
Kim’s passion is centered around nursing advocacy and leadership. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Nursing Leadership at Walden University and expects to start her dissertation journey in the near future. She remains connected to clinical quality and operations, being both a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, a Certified Nurse Executive, and a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse.
When not working, she enjoys spending time, preferably outdoors, with her family and her rescue dogs. She looks forward to meeting and supporting the South Atlantic Division nursing teams.
